Andy Cramer (former counselor, TREK leader, campfire leader, etc.), along with his two daughters, joined us for a Memorial Weekend BBQ and afterwards, sent along some gems from 1983. The oldest boy’s cabin was named “The Swamp” after the TV series MASH in the early years of camp and to this day, remains “The Swamp” and is ALWAYS the oldest boy’s cabin. Now it sports cute cedar siding and a nice deck but the memories from decades of oldest boys live on inside the cabin walls. The Swamp is an icon at camp and an important piece of camp history.
