Hi. I’m Becca Rudy.
I came to camp when I was 10 years old and have been a traditional camper, CIT, JC and a Trekker. Now I am returning as a counselor for my fourth summer. Can you tell I love camp?
I grew up in Davis, CA, and I just graduated college from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio with a BFA in Acting. I love to act, sing and dance. After camp, I am going to be working at Walt Disney World in Florida and then after that, I am going to make the move to NYC. Yay!
Though I love the theater world and being creative, I have a huge passion for the outdoors. Some things I love to do at camp are kayaking, wakeboarding, and stand-up paddle boarding (can you tell I like the water?). I also love the high ropes course!
I think my all-time favorite camp event is the camp dances. I love to dress in a silly costume and dance with all my friends. I am also a huge fan of Vespers night.
I could go on and on about everything I love at camp, but I won’t because that would take 10 more pages. However, I will say this: Coppercreek camp has been in my life for a long time, and it has truly helped shape me into the person I am today. The experiences I have had, the family I have made, and the personal growth I have seen in myself have made me more confident and more well-rounded. This place does have magic, and I can’t wait to share and witness that with all of the new and returning faces this summer!
